1950年代にパリの知的・文化活動の一大中心地となったサン＝ジェルマン＝デ＝プレ地区に集まった著名な詩人・哲学者・ミュージシャン・俳優・歌手・学生たち。そこにあるカフェから流れてくるスモーキージャズを想像して名付けられたモデルです。

The highly anticipated “JULIEN” from JACQUES MARIE MAGE has arrived!

This model, which we haven’t had in stock for about eight months, features a simple Wellington shape characteristic of JACQUES MARIE MAGE.

It’s named after the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district in Paris, which became a major center of intellectual and cultural activity in the 1950s, attracting renowned poets, philosophers, musicians, actors, singers, and students. The name evokes the smoky jazz music that would have drifted from the cafes in that area.
