A new color of the 1948 has arrived from JACQUES MARIE MAGE.
Stanley Kubrick, the legendary filmmaker behind 2001: A Space Odyssey and A Clockwork Orange.
Before making his name as a film director, Kubrick worked as a photographer for Look magazine in 1948. This special model faithfully recreates the eyewear he wore in a portrait from that period, reinterpreted through the distinctive perspective of JACQUES MARIE MAGE.
The lens shape blends Wellington and panto influences, while details such as the pronounced endpieces and triangular bridge incorporate elements found in vintage eyewear.
“Dun” features a translucent champagne-colored front paired with contrasting tortoiseshell temples.
