アンディ・ウォーホルが掛けていたアイウェアといえば、
丸みのあるボストンシェイプ、そしてクリアフレーム。

そんな彼の1980年代のポートレイトに写っていた眼鏡を着想源に、
「もし今も生きていたら掛けてもらいたい」という、EYEVAN7285デザイナーの想いをかたちにしたモデルが入荷しました。

伝統的な芯張り製法をベースに、
古い機械による手作業の回転ヤスリ加工で生まれる、テンプルの不規則で美しい甲丸感。

また、金属粒子を混ぜて調色し、一枚ずつ成形された日本製のガラスレンズが採用されています。

EYEVAN7285の美学、そしてアンディ・ウォーホルへの敬意が込められた一本です。

When it comes to Andy Warhol’s eyewear,
one immediately thinks of softly rounded Boston shapes and clear frames.

Inspired by the glasses seen in his portraits from the 1980s,
this model was created with the EYEVAN7285 designer’s wish that
“if Warhol were still alive today, he would be wearing them.”

Based on traditional core-insert construction,
the temples feature a beautifully irregular rounded finish,
achieved through hand-applied rotary filing using vintage machinery.

The lenses are Japanese-made glass,
individually formed and colored by blending metallic particles into the tint.

A piece that embodies EYEVAN7285’s refined aesthetic and craftsmanship,
as well as a deep respect for Andy Warhol.
